To be a Flat Earther you have to open your mind and question everything. It’s the belief that you should trust your own observations before blindly following what others tell you to believe. The idea itself is actually quite simple: if someone tells you something that defies your understanding of the world, you should question it.

In school we were taught that the Earth was round. We saw globes in every classroom, and above us in the sky were two clearly round celestial bodies — the Sun and the Moon. We trusted our teachers, our parents, and other authority figures because why would they lie to us?

Well, now we know better.

In the Information Age, it has become blatently apparent that governments and institutions are capable of misleading the public — sometimes about matters far more important than the shape of the planet itself. History has shown that people in power have lied, manipulated information, and hidden truths for reasons ranging from profit to control.

So naturally, people began asking questions.

If we can be misled about major political events, wars, surveillance, media narratives, and corruption, then why should any topic be considered beyond questioning?

That is the true mindset behind modern Flat Earth thinking.
